Mini project: Lip Sync Video

This blog post will discuss the mini project my class did to prepare for the music video.

Reflection: Before administering our shots, we must unquestionably practice them beforehand, the lack of practice and the pace of how the mini project went defintely made it harder to create a better video. It could be a good idea to adhere to our storyboard because it can be challenging to come up with quality shots on the spot. I think we should pay closer attention to our storyboard and follow it when we actually go to record our music video because it will make it much easier to get better shots. Since it's hard to identify intriguing sites at our school, we might also need to do some location scouting beforehand. I also believe that practicing for performances should be mandatory. Getting someone who is more experienced with lip-syncing can also be helpful. Without a doubt, we also need to purchase a better camera.

This is the music video we were trying to recreate in class, as the music video is quite old we felt that we could revamp the look with a more modern edge.

We felt that the one hour we were allotted to prepare and record our films was way too short. Here, time management will be a major problem. The quality of our phone cameras is likewise lacking, which could lead to particularly subpar outcomes. Since none of us had ever lip-synced for a video before and it had been a while since I've attended a karaoke, our performance was probably awful. Mr. Nick received our video, and after that, he collated each group's outcomes.

This was the final compiled music video, it featured every student in our media class, and each group was assigned a certain verse to recreate.
