| This blog post details the editing process of our documentary. |
We made a lot of changes from our initial to our final documentary. We felt as though there were certain problems we ran into such as audio issues. However, we managed to create an amazing documentary that we’re proud of. We consulted teachers, students and others from our target audience to choose the right option for our documentary. We took insipiration from documentaries alike to stay true to our genre conventions such as What the health, which provided great montages we took inspiration from and Mind explained which had incredible narration we wanted to pay homage to. We subverted however from certain elements such as the view that documentaries are boring and bland, we included certain features that would be more engaging with audiences and pay attention into our target audience to create the best decisions.
